If you’ve got only a domain with TightHost, and yet you also want to move your website(s) to our platform, you can just switch to any of our cloud hosting packages. Simply visit the Upgrade Plan section of your Domain Control Panel and select the package that you desire to switch to. We will then enable each one of the available web hosting features for you and you will be able to make the most of all the website installation and administration tools that are inside the Control Panel.

All our hosting packages offer a drag ’n’ drop File Manager, webmail access, the option to set up multiple MySQL databases and to view detailed traffic statistics, and a lot more, so all you have to consider is the amount of resources that you need for your web sites.

In our Domain Manager you will find an easy–to–use tool, which enables you to filter out your web site traffic depending on the visitors’ country of origin. With our GeoIP location tool, you can easily set up location–based redirections and point your visitors to various areas of your web site. For example, you will be able to direct the US traffic to your index page, and the visitors coming from Spain to a sub–domain – es.your–website.com, for instance.

With this easy–to–use tool, you’ll no longer have to insert dozens of lines of code in the .htaccess file. Everything is taken care of by the tool itself.

With the web hosting Control Panel, domain parking is effortless and fast. You just need to choose the domain name you intend to to park and to choose one of our domain parking themes – For Sale or Under Construction. Our clever system will park your domain name immediately with no waiting time. And in case you need to un–park it, this can be done with a mouse click.

If you desire to bring a custom look and feel to our domain parking themes, you may also enter a custom text message.

Having a trustworthy technical support team willing to help you with any question that you might have is vital for creating a trusted relationship with our clients. With the WHOIS protection functionality, you’ll be able to conceal your private info that can be viewed online upon a WHOIS lookup on your domain name. Thus, if someone runs a WHOIS lookup on your domain, they will see fictitious information instead of your personal information. With this option enabled, you will never have to be worried that somebody could use your physical address or phone number to bother you.

The WHOIS protection feature is available with most of the TLD extensions offered on our web sute and you can find it in the Domain Manager included in your Control Panel.

In the Control Panel there is a point–and–click domain name administration tool with a multitude of features for managing numerous domains at the same time. You will be able to quickly create sub–domain names, forward websites, modify the nameservers or the WHOIS details associated with a domain, add custom DNS records and much more.

Aside from the basic domain controls, in the Domain Manager you’ll also find an option to mask your domain name registration details using the Whois Privacy Protection option and to protect your online store’s financial transactions with ordinary or wildcard Secure Sockets Layer certificates.

From the Domain Manager section of the Control Panel, you will exert full authority over your domain’s DNS records. You’ll be able to easily modify different DNS records, including A, AAAA, MX, NS, CNAME, SRV and TXT records. Setting new DNS records and editing them when necessary is incredibly easy. Simply fill in the desired value and hit the action button. A couple of hours will be necessary for the newly added DNS records to be propagated around the globe. In case you need to convert a DNS record to its old value, you can also achieve that with only one click of the mouse.

What’s more, the Domain Manager offers you the option to register nameservers for your domain or to forward your visitors to different areas of your website depending on their physical whereabouts.

The domain name forwarding tool that is integrated into our web hosting Control Panel enables you to forward a domain or a sub–domain in your account to some other web site of your choice. You just need to choose the host you intend to to redirect and the desired destination path. Our system will take care of the redirection and your domain will start to point to the preferred location instantly.

This tool offers a simple–to–use interface, so you will be able to forward a specific domain or subdomain with merely a couple of clicks of the mouse instead of making complex .htaccess file modifications.
